Easy making of Aloo Bread Bonda Crispy Snack recipe/lallyrecipes
Ingredients

Bread slices 6
Potato peeled, boiled and mashed 1 cup
Salt as per taste
Ginger 1 inch
Garlic 1-2 cloves
Coriander leaves 2 Tbsp
Fennel / Sonf 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies 1-2 or as needed
For The Batter -
Besan 1/4 cup
Corn Flour 1/4 cup
Salt as needed
Red Chilli Powder as needed
Baking Soda a pinch
Oil for deep fry

Directions

Make a paste of green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves and set aside.


In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potato, salt, the above paste and fennel seeds.


Powder the bread slices and add it to the potato mixture and knead into a stiff dough.


Roll small portions of the potato-bread mixture into bite size balls and set aside.


In another mixing bowl, add the ingredients to make the batter.

Gradually add water to make a batter thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

Heat the required oil in a wok/kadai

When the oil is just hot enough, dip each ball of potato-bread mixture in the batter and gently slide in the hot oil.

Add as many as your wok can handle without overcrowding.

 Keep turning them around so they get evenly browned on all sides.


When the Balls turn Brown Switch off the Flame and Take away in a serving plate.

Serve hot with Green Chutney or Tomato Chilli Sauce
