Sooji Rava Tomato Bath Simple Andhra Special Breakfast Recipe

Sooji Rava Tomato Bath Breakfast recipe/lallyrecipes
Ingredients:

1 Cup Semolina/Rava/Sooji
3 Cups Water
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar (Optional)

For seasoning:


1 Tbsp Oil
2 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal/Skinned Split Black Gram
6-8 Groundnuts and/or Broken Cashews
Curry leaves to taste
1 inch piece of Ginger
3 Green Chillies
1 Onion
1 Tomato

For garnish:

Coriander leaves to taste

Directions

Roast the semolina on a medium flame till it has a wonderful aroma and starts browning slightly..Keep aside..

Chop all the veggies and keep aside..

Heat the pan with oil and splutter mustard seeds..Add urad dal and fry till then are browned..

Add curry leaves, groundnuts,ginger and green chillies and continue frying  for few seconds..

Add sliced onion and fry till they turn translucent..

Add tomato and mix well..


Add 3 cups water and allow it to come to a boil.. Add salt and sugar..


Add the roasted semolina slowly stirring continuously with the other hand..

Keep stirring and turning over till the water evaporates..

Cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame..

 Stir again till it forms a lump...


Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves..
