Simple Homemade Vegetarian Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1 tbsp oil/butter
1 tbsp chopped garlic
½ pack Knorr Easy to Cook Italian Pasta Red Sauce
1 cup fresh tomato paste/ tomato purée
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
For pizza toping
½ cup cut capsicum & onion
2tbsp grated cheese
Pizza base, 3 in number, approximately 8”x8” in size

Method

1. In a medium saucepan, heat the butter/oil over low heat. Add the garlic and sauté. Add the tomato paste and stir.
2. Add 2 cups of water and entire contents of pack of Knorr Easy to Cook Italian Pasta Red Sauce and the oregano. Bring to a simmer, lower heat and cover. Cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Let it cool slightly before using on your pizza. Spread sauce on the pizza base, spread capsicum and onions all over. Add the grated cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven.

You Can try also

For a non-vegetarian pizza, add your favorite cold cuts or shredded boiled chicken.
