How to make Andra Special Hot Tomato Pickle Recipe
Ingredients
tomatoes 1 kg
Mustard (ground) 50 gms
vinegar 1 cup
green chillies 100gms
refined oil 1 cup
ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
red chilli powder 2 tbsp
salt to taste
asfoetida 1/4 tsp
cumin seeds 1 tbsp
fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
curry leaves a few
Method
Heat oil and add asfoetida,cumin seeds,when brown add ginger garlic paste and roast.
Add fenugreek seeds.
Add the diced tomatoes and cook for some time till the water
evaporates.
Now add green chillies (cut into big pieces),and the curry leaves and cook for another 5 mins.
Add salt and vinegar. Stir well and take off fire.
When cool add mustard powder ,mix well and store in a air tight container.
